Community members who would like to connect with and support local veterans, active duty service personnel, their families and the community are invited to join the American Legion and their Auxiliary, the most powerful veteran service organization in America.

Those who join connect with other American Legion Auxiliary members in the area, providing strength to the organization.

Since 1924, Auxiliary Unit 333 has achieved its own unique identity in Sun Prairie while working side by side with the Veterans who belong to Post 333. Like the Post, the Unit’s interests have broadened to encompass the entire community. The Auxiliary embodies the spirit of America that has prevailed through war and peace, solidly behind America. Patriotism is a personal commitment for all Unit members who place importance on community involvement and responsible citizenship.

The mission is to support the Legion and honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of veterans, military, and their families, both at home and abroad. The Auxiliary members also advocate for veterans, educate citizens, mentor youth, and promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace and security.

All in the Auxiliary support youth activities, returning service members, veterans in need, and the families of our men and women currently serving our country. It is a social network, involved in the community, and ambassadors and advocates for all veterans.
